Application Process
We give students $1,500 to $5,000 as an interest-free loan, then the student agrees to pay monthly installments (no interest) until the borrowed money is paid in full. Those installments are then used to help other students in need.
Only three requirements for future students:
Must be 1st or 2nd generation immigrants
Must be At least 16 years of age
Must be a current resident of California

Send us a 2-3 minute video of your story with the following information - Name, your immigrant story, reasons for the loan, and your source of income (if any). Upload the video on Vimeo, Dropbox or email us at connect@immigranted.org.
Our loan committee will review the video and let you know if you have been selected to proceed before you complete the full application.
Complete an application with a guarantor signer.
Our board will approve based on applicant needs and strengths.
If approved, you will receive a one lump sum check or installments based on applicant need.
