WHAT IS A GUARANTOR?

Our philosophy is to offer interest-free loans rather than charity. This way, we help students become and remain self-sufficient. This also allows the student to "grant it forward" and help other students in need.

We give students $1,500 to $5,000 as an interest-free loan immediately, then the student agrees to pay monthly installments (no interest) until the borrowed money is paid in full. Those installments are then used to help other students in need.

A Guarantor acts as a co-signer. In the event the student cannot pay back the loan we will ask the Guarantor to pay for the installments.

Students may receive up to $5,000 per academic year in interest free loans. Also, for every $250 we raise, we donate a backpack and supplies to students in early education to start younger students on the right path.

We ask students to pay the loans back in monthly installments once they receive the loan.
